I can not stress this enough, if you are debating booking this please do yourself a favor and reserve as soon as possible. Alfredo picked us up from our Airbnb and proceeded to give us the highlight of our trip! On the way to the Duoro Valley, he explained to us so much about the area, the wines and culture of the valley. We stopped at 3 different wineries that gave us a variety of all that that Duoro has to offer, and had one of the best meals we ate during our trip. Alfredo also worked behind the scenes with me to plan a surprise proposal to my now fiancé at our last stop. He helped to make it absolutely perfect and we made memories that we will share for a lifetime. I think this speaks to his dedication to each of his clients to give them the best possible experience of the Duoro Valley. Book ASAP!!!”

“Great Day in Douro Valley
What a great day with Alfredo touring the Douro valley. Alfredo picked us at our hotel in Porto for the drive to the valley. Along the way he explained in great detail the history and details of wine making in Portugal. Upon arriving in the valley the day started with a great family owned winery that has been in the family for 38 generations. Beyond impressed with the operation and their wines. On to the next tasting which was equally as impressive but on a different scale. Here we had a fantastic lunch paired with wines. After all the food and wine went on a relaxing boat ride on the Douro river. Nice change of pace and viewpoint. Then to finish off the day with another excellent wine tasting a a winery with an amazing view of the valley. Could have just stayed there and gazed at that view all afternoon. But had to leave to head back to Porto. Alfredo was knowledgeable, funny and safe. Highly recommend.”
