I traveled to Portugal for the first time and visited Lisbon, Porto and the Douro Valley… I found Alfredo through trip advisor and booked the Douro Valley day trip to visit wine cellars, have lunch and take a boat trip on the river. The Douro valley is a must see, and you'd be silly if Alfredo didn't guide you! It took him less than 5 minutes to understand my group dynamic and really understand us and our needs. He was very knowledgeable and respectful. He took us to places we would never have visited on our own which was truly amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend him, and I know that when I return to Portugal, Alfredo will definitely give us recommendations and take us to several villages to explore and truly see the culture of Portugal!”

“Highlight of Trip to Portugal My wife, along with two of our close friends recently traveled to the Portugal. We hired Tourvent (aka Alfredo) to take us on a day trip to the Douro Valley wine country from our home base of Porto, Portugal. The whole experience was wonderful. Alfredo was prompt on our agreed upon pick-up time, conversation to and from our destinations were informational, enjoyable, and rewarding. All points of this trip have been carefully planned and executed and it showed! Each vineyard we visited was unique, with amazing wines, olive oils, traditions, and history. The scenery of the Duoro Valley is spectacular. This trip gives you the perfect opportunity to enjoy the wines while balancing the opportunity to take some amazing pictures along the way. Alfredo was one of the best hosts we have ever encountered on a hired, private tour. We would HIGHLY recommend him and his companies services. “Best Day of Our Honeymoon Alfredo has the best job ever, and he created the best day of our honeymoon! We spent 2 amazing weeks on the road, and we were completely over wow'd everywhere we went. Then we met Alfredo for our private tour tasting and lunch, and had the best day ever. Alfredo used what little he knew about us to kicked off our day with the perfect small batch wine marler, Luis. Then as he learned more about us, he tailored the rest of the day to mirror our passion for discovering the Douro Valley. In addition, Alfredo is an excellent driver. Those winding, hilly roads are not easy to navigate and he expertly managed them in a downpour.
