“Best Day of Our Honeymoon Alfredo has the best job ever, and he created the best day of our honeymoon! We spent 2 amazing weeks on the road, and we were completely over wow'd everywhere we went. Then we met Alfredo for our private tour tasting and lunch, and had the best day ever. Alfredo used what little he knew about us to kicked off our day with the perfect small batch wine marler, Luis. Then as he learned more about us, he tailored the rest of the day to mirror our passion for discovering the Douro Valley. In addition, Alfredo is an excellent driver. Those winding, hilly roads are not easy to navigate and he expertly managed them in a downpour. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Alfredo and team, and are already planning our next adventure with him. Cheers!”

“Absolutely Wonderful Douro Valley Tour out de 2022 Really happy with our choice to book a private Douro Valley tour with Alfredo and Tourvent. Alfredo picked us up in a very nice van with plenty of room for four adults. He provided just the right amount of Portugal history mixed with wine, grape and Douro Valley information. He has chosen some really wonderful vineyards for this tour and we really enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the actual owners/winemakers of the vineyards. Plus, a private boat tour as well which we really enjoyed! We didn't run into any other tour groups during the day and that is exactly what we had hoped for! By far our favorite part of our trip to Portugal. Douro Valley is beautiful and a tour with Tourvent is the way to see it for sure!”

“Truly Amazing Douro Experience After having done many tours via Viator, and other apps, we have found that it is not very enjoyable. You never know what group you're going to get, and it can get crowded and frustrating. Via word of mouth we received Alfredo's contact information and could not be happier that we did. We only had 2 short days in Porto, but wanted to make the most of our time. The full day education and wine tasting (with 3 course lunch) in the Douro was amazing and exceeded all expectations. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Porto Gaia, and embarked on our journey. On the roughly 1.5 hour trip Alfredo educated us on the history of the region, wine making, trading, regulation, etc. Our first stop was truly one of the most amazing winery tours/tastings we had ever done at Gueda (Casa de Romezal). Very personal and quaint. Luis is a true gem. Quinta da Pacheca was our next stop and was also amazing, where we were served an outstanding 3 course lunch. Our last stop provided the best views of the Valley - Quinta do Pego...I almost forgot the 1 hour boat ride up the Douro was breathtaking. Our expectations were exceeded in almost every aspect of the trip. We HIGHLY recommend Alfredo for any adventure. He has decades in the hostpitality space, and it shows!”
